JUST DO IT, DO IT SCARED

Story time....

Let me share a bit of my journey with you. Starting my photography business was tough. A lot of people think photography is a piece of cake, like just clicking a button and boom, beautiful images. But it's so much more. I worried about setting my prices right, especially since I was planing to transition from my job as a drug research scientist. I needed my photography income to match what I was making. It was a juggling act, balancing my new business with my full-time role and family life with my two young boys. There were days when exhaustion crept in, and I barely had time for myself, let alone my family. But you know what? I did it anyway. And now, I'm reaping the rewards of taking that leap, even when I was scared.

As I'm fully immersed in my business full time, I still have moments of fear. But I've learned that doing it scared is okay because it's worth it. Doing it scared led to hosting two successful Boss Ladies Galas, publishing the Boss Ladies Magazines twice and working with others to raise a total of $19,365 for 2 local non-profit organizations all in 2 years! It's incredible to see how far we can go by just doing it, even when we're afraid.

So, what's my message to you? JUST DO IT. Take that step, even if you're scared. Nike's slogan is more than just words; it's a mantra for taking action and achieving your goals. Are you putting off building your online presence and impacting more people? Just do it, even if it scares you.
